Description

Green dyed plastic filament for 3D printing; made from ABS.

Using 1.75mm filaments can provide you with higher resolution prints by allowing you to print through smaller nozzles.

About ABS:

ABS is a durable and tough plastic with a high resistance to ambient temperatures. All of this makes it a great plastic for making items that are intended for repeated use and need to withstand a high level of wear and tear.

Some flexibility remains in ABS after printing so it is easy to work with.

ABS is not well-suited to making decorative objects since it does not print sharp edges or intricate details well. ABS is far better suited to printing objects that will be used regularly and go through a lot of wear and tear.

Everyday items made from ABS:

  • Small kitchen appliances (such as kettles, toasters etc)
  • Casing for electronic devices (tv, phone, computer etc)
  • Musical instruments (recorders, plastic clarinets)
