Tips for T-shirt transfer film
Tips for T-shirt transfer film
Design, print and make your own T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, bags and so on.
To print:
Make sure you have the printer settings set to "optimal" or "best".
Print on the smooth side of the paper. The checkered side is the back of the transfer foil.
Are you printing a text? Then make sure that the print is a mirror image.
Cut out the image.
To smoothe:
Provide a hard, smooth surface so that the heat passes easily through the paper. An ironing board is too soft as a surface.
Do not use a new unwashed T-shirt.
Place the printed layer face down on the T-shirt.
Make sure the iron is at its hottest before you start ironing. Choose the highest setting.
To ensure the image adheres properly to the T-shirt, press the iron on each part of the image for 30-50 seconds. If the foil is not yet firm enough, repeat this.
After ironing, carefully remove the paper. Your T-shirt is now ready.
To wash:
Wash the T-shirt inside out and at no higher than 40°C.
