Tips for T-shirt transfer film

Tips for T-shirt transfer film

Design, print and make your own T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, bags and so on.

To print:
  • Make sure you have the printer settings set to "optimal" or "best".
  • Print on the smooth side of the paper. The checkered side is the back of the transfer foil.
  • Are you printing a text? Then make sure that the print is a mirror image.
  • Cut out the image.
To smoothe:
  • Provide a hard, smooth surface so that the heat passes easily through the paper. An ironing board is too soft as a surface.
  • Do not use a new unwashed T-shirt.
  • Place the printed layer face down on the T-shirt.
  • Make sure the iron is at its hottest before you start ironing. Choose the highest setting.
  • To ensure the image adheres properly to the T-shirt, press the iron on each part of the image for 30-50 seconds. If the foil is not yet firm enough, repeat this.
  • After ironing, carefully remove the paper. Your T-shirt is now ready.
To wash:
  • Wash the T-shirt inside out and at no higher than 40°C.
  • Use soap without bleach.
  • Do not iron directly over the image.
  • Iron around it or iron the T-shirt inside out
