Dell laptops with USB-C chargers support Power Delivery 3.0 (PD3.0), making charging fast and safe. Ensure that the voltage matches your original adapter, unless you have a charger that supports multiple voltages, such as from 5V to 20V. In that case, the charger will automatically deliver the correct voltage to the laptop and even to other USB-C devices that support PD3.0, such as smartphones. The wattage must be at least the same. A higher-wattage charger isn't a problem: PD3.0 automatically ensures your Dell laptop only draws the necessary power. This ensures stable performance and optimal battery protection.

Note: The 8.25A / 20V (165W) output is only available for Dell laptops explicitly designed to accept this power via USB-C. For compatible Dell models, the appropriate profile is selected via built-in communication (PD handshake).
