Description

These LS14250 batteries from Saft (also known as a 1/2 AA batteries) have a voltage of 3.6V, a capacity of 1200mAh and have a Li-SOCl2 composition. Batteries with a Li-SOCl2 (lithium thionyl chloride) composition have a very high energy density and a very low degree of self-discharge.

In addition, this type of battery can be used at extreme temperatures, up to -60°C and 85°C. Due to these characteristics, Li-SOCl2 batteries are mainly used in devices that require little energy for a long time, such as smoke detectors, alarm systems, measurement equipment and backup systems. The Saft LS14250 battery has a size of 14mm x 25mm.
