The printer is suitable for wide thermal paper rolls, up to 118mm. This makes it very useful for producing large, professional labels in various industries such as logistics, healthcare, laboratories or catering. The resolution is 203 dpi which allows the device to produce sharp and accurate high quality prints at a speed of up to 127mm/sec.

Ease of use is paramount. This allows you to change label rolls without manually configuring all sorts of settings. The automatic roll recognition automatically calculates the length and width of the label. You can also easily customise the labels by adding symbols, company logos and built-in graphics using the Brother software. Add-ins are also available to easily print directly from Excel and Word.

Integration is seamless, even in legacy systems, thanks to broad printer language support including ZPL2, CPCL, ESC/P, EPL2 and DPL2. To print large quantities of labels in one go, you can link to Access databases or Excel and csv files. This professional label printer can be connected serially (RS-232) or via USB.

If desired, you can add functionality with accessories such as a cutter or a label stripper (both not included).
